Carson Kohler is a screenwriter based Salt Lake City, Utah who writes vivid, stylish, and exciting stories for animation across a variety of sub-genres. An alumnus of Los Angeles Film School with a Bachelor of Science in Writing for Film and Television, Carson is a highly trained professional with a keen narrative compass and a natural-born knack for storytelling.

Carson's specialty lies in his deep understanding of psychology and the human condition. His characters often invoke the inherent flaws we all carry, examining the limitless avenues of growth that a person can experience across a personal journey; or not, some people never heal. This resonates through his characters, which are meticulously designed with immense depth and attention to the subtlety of true personality.

Carson's works often take place in fantastical worlds. Offering both an escape from reality and relatable comfort characters to drive attachment to these worlds. These unfamiliar worlds are populated by familiar characters that highlight recurring themes of adversity and resilience in the face of insurmountable odds. This blend of familiar faces in unfamiliar places results in the unique opportunity to highlight societal issues using motifs that carry the message to a wider audience. Death Angel isn't about corruption in the United States, it's about the idea that corruption can arise anywhere, at any time.

Carson's works carry a distinct style, a narrative voice that bleeds into all elements of his works. This is unique to each project, with works like Duality having a mystical, fantastical feel while other projects, such as Death Angel, carry a more fast-paced, electric cyberpunk aesthetic.
